Zoho forms
Crafted a No-code form building application

problem
Despite a strong desktop presence, Zoho Forms was seeing a drop-off in user retention among enterprise clients whose workforces are increasingly mobile-first. Without a native mobile companion that supports complex features like conditional logic and digital signatures, the product risked losing market share to agile, mobile-only competitors.
solution
To drive retention and close the mobile gap, I led the 0-to-1 design of the Zoho Forms iOS and Android apps. I focused on high-value mobile utilities—such as push-notification approvals, GPS location tagging, and customizable mobile reports. This expanded the product’s utility into new industries, directly contributing to over 200,000 installations and a top-tier app store rating.
As the sole product designer for a cross-functional team of six developers, I owned the end-to-end design strategy for Zoho Forms’ entry into the mobile market. My role transitioned from high-level product strategy—defining the mobile roadmap—to the granular execution of native iOS and Android experiences. I acted as the bridge between user needs and engineering constraints, ensuring that complex web functionalities were distilled into intuitive, high-performing mobile interactions.

Discovery & Contextual Inquiry
Secondary Research: Audited the existing web ecosystem to identify "power features" (logic, approvals, reporting).
User Interviews: Conducted deep-dives with field-heavy personas (e.g., courier managers, site inspectors) to uncover the "Offline Gap"—the critical moment where paper replaced digital due to poor connectivity.
